Welcome to the Queens Village Soccer Academy Web Site. The concept of having a Junior League soccer team “Estudiantes” began on April 1996, by Cesar Lopez and a handful of kids.
Initially
we started the team with inspiration and love for the sport. Like any
organization coming into existence many obstacles and difficulties
arouse. Never
the less, with our strong commitment and desire for making it work, the
academy’s winning spirit started to flourish.
We
were fortunate to be recognized by Mr. Luis Montoya, the President of
the Big
Apple Youth Soccer league with the honor of joining their league. The
Academy
was able to make giant steps in building a bigger competitive team.
This is how
Queens Village Soccer Academy was born.
Now
the academy has four teams. Four all-boys team with ages ranging from 5
to 18
years of age. Also, Five teams of about 60 kids, and more continue to
enroll.
The teams are lead by a great coaching staff that are eager to assist
and
accommodate the children in this exciting sport recognized and loved
all around
the world.
Our
Academy continues to work on providing technique and discipline; the
basic
skills necessary for playing soccer.
